HANGING OUT at ArcOpen

What do you call a spot where you can literally spend the day chill’n, hanging out and doing whatever stuff you want?

At ArcOpen we’re calling it the HangOut!

It’s a place where we hope people can gather and enjoy their time. What you do with the space is up to you!

But we’re sure many of you will plan to bring some hobby along so you can spend the time to build, paint, sculpt… For some it will be about being able to chat, play games, and generally hang out and let the weekend pass by.

You’ll be located in the Admiral Room at the Royal Batman, Coburg - the ArcOpen venue. You’ll have the prime spot to keeping an eye on what’s going on with the event. Like when the best time to enter your miniatures on the Saturday might be - usually when the line and wait is not too long!

The Hangout will be open 9am to 5pm each day. Best of all an ArcOpen entry ticket gives you access to the area - we’re adding this extra activity area as part of your ticket which now covers entry and attending the event as well as HangOut access!

It may only be our inaugrual ArcOpen, but we’re keen to engage with and support the growth of the painting community. By hosting the HangOut we hope It’s easier to meet other painters, to grow connections both individually, and as a wider group, particularly if you’re spending time in a relaxed area.

The HangOut hopefully gives painters and sculptors a place to create, as well as share their work, or find out what others are into.

You never know, one of our Hobby Celebrities might just find a seat at your table and give everyone an opportunity for some fun, interesting conversations.

We’re going to set up a few tables with room to fit everyone looking for some space. Oh and we’ll have chairs, power, water, cups and paper towels on hand for everyone’s convenience.

If you’re planning on doing some hobby think about bring power boards, travel lamps, your own paints, brushes, palettes, projects, and whatever else you need to be comfortable over the weekend. You’re welcome to set yourself up so that you have all the comforts of your own hobby space.

Your don’t need to book, just plan what to bring. We hope this facility will make everyone’s time at the ArcOpen an enjoyable and creative one!

The ArcOpen team will take all care, but understand that you leave your belongings at your own risk.We can’t be responsible if anything goes missing or gets damaged.
