We are beyond thrilled to announce that Arc40k and Operation: Arc, our Kill Team event, have been officially recognized as qualifier events for the prestigious World Championships of Warhammer!
This means that three lucky players - two from Arc40k and one from Operation: Arc - will earn their ticket to the grand stage of competitive Warhammer, taking place in Atlanta, Georgia, from the 6th to the 9th of November 2025.
A Global Celebration of Warhammer
The World Championships of Warhammer is the ultimate battleground for competitive Warhammer enthusiasts. Last year, the event brought together elite players from over 45 countries, competing across four gaming systems. The event wasn’t just about the games - it was a celebration of Warhammer culture, with players bonding over a shared love of miniatures, strategy, and community. It set the bar for sportsmanship and camaraderie, all while showcasing the highest level of play the hobby has to offer.
This year’s event is set to be even bigger and better, with qualifiers happening across the globe. And now, ArcFest is proud to join this exclusive roster of events, giving our players the opportunity to represent Australia on the world stage.
The Road to Atlanta Begins Here
At Arc40k, Australia’s premier Warhammer 40k event, two players will qualify for the World Championships, our 2025 Champion & Best General. Meanwhile, the Champion from Operation: Arc, our Kill Team tournament, will also secure a coveted spot at this global event.
This is your chance to go from ArcFest to Atlanta, battling alongside the best players from around the world. Whether you’re a seasoned tournament veteran or a rising star in the competitive scene, the opportunity to represent your country at the World Championships is within reach.

The World Championships isn’t just about the competition. Running concurrently with the event is the Grand Narrative, a fully immersive Warhammer 40k narrative experience that brings the lore and drama of the 41st millennium to life in spectacular fashion. While our qualifiers will be battling for glory, attendees can also look forward to epic storytelling, jaw-dropping miniatures displays, and the vibrant community spirit that defines Warhammer.
