In August 2022 Mike chose to buy a ticket, pick up the brush and commit to returning to play at Arc40k for the 25th Anniversary after a break from attending match play events.

But what an amazing army he produced - to not only celebrate a milestone year but in presenting his beloved Orks in the most amazing light. Mike was awarded the Best Painted Army at Arc40k in 2023. I'm sure you'll all agree that his conversions, modelling and painting place this force at the pinnical of the Warhammer 40,000 hobby.
